About the meeting with the Director of the Veterinary Service and the trade Attaché of the Hungarian Embassy

On April 17, a working trilateral meeting was held at the Veterinary Service of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, an agreement on which was reached between Ulugbek Kozhobergenov, Director of the Veterinary Service, Andrej Bukai, Trade Attaché of the Hungarian Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic and Ulan Sarbanov, Chairman of the Board of the Hungarian-Kyrgyz Development Fund on the sidelines of the «AgroForum – 2024 «Creating a sustainable agricultural sector in the Kyrgyz Republic», organized on April 2 of this year. The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic and the World Bank Group.

At the meeting, the parties informed of their intention to study and promote the supply of goods such as honey, lamb and trout from the Kyrgyz Republic to Hungary. We discussed issues of foreign economic regulation of such supplies. The issue of exporting honey, lamb and trout was also discussed earlier at a meeting of the Investment Council under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic at a meeting on April 5, 2024.

The parties touched upon issues of foreign trade regulation of the export of cattle and small cattle skins, as well as yak meat.

Ulan Sarbanov, Chairman of the Board of the Fund, informed about the current work on projects financed and ready for financing and about the conditions for obtaining financing. At the end of the meeting, he expressed his readiness to continue working together when submitting an application for funding.
