On participation in the conference on climate finance

At the invitation of the Climate Finance Center, Ulan Sarbanov, Chairman of the Board of the Hungarian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (hereinafter referred to as the Fund), and Bakhtiyar Sultanov, expert of the Credit Administration Service, took part in the conference “Strengthening Climate Finance in the Kyrgyz Republic: Visioning, Preparing and Managing Climate Finance Projects”, organized by the Climate Finance Center (hereinafter referred to as the CFC) with the support of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The opening remarks at the conference were made by Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic - Head of the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ayten Rustamova, Head of the EBRD Representative Office and Zheng Wu, ADB Country Director.

The conference program further includes four sessions, where reports will be heard and discussed on topics such as “New Horizons, Opportunities and Challenges,” “How the CCF is positioned to take a leadership position in climate finance and development projects in general,” “The CCF and the State Investment Program,” “Priorities in the Preparation of Sovereign Climate Projects of the Kyrgyz Republic,” “Climate Projects in the Kyrgyz Republic: Current Situation and Priorities of the CCF,” and “Climate Projects in the Kyrgyz Republic: the Process of Preparing Projects in the CCF and Developed Projects.”
