On the Meeting of the Board of the Hungarian-Kyrgyz Development Fund

On March 17, 2026, the regular meeting of the Board of the Hungarian-Kyrgyz Development Fund No. 22 was held in Bishkek. The meeting was chaired by the Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, Bakyt Sydykov.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Board, Economic Attaché of the Embassy of Hungary in Tashkent, Marton Kovács; Board Member and Economic Attaché of the Consulate General of Hungary in Saint Petersburg, Dávid Batári; Board Member, First Deputy Minister of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ruslan Suynaliev; and Board Member, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Almaz Imangaziev.

During the meeting, the Board approved financing for two projects in the pharmaceutical and poultry sectors, adopted the Development Strategy for 2026–2028, the Work Plan for 2026, reviewed the execution of the Fund’s budget for 2025, and approved the Fund’s budget for 2026. The Board also reviewed the implementation of previously adopted decisions and heard the report of the Fund’s Management Board on the effectiveness of operations for the 12 months of 2025. In addition, the Board adopted several internal regulatory documents of the Fund, including those related to asset classification and provisioning for potential losses, as well as procedures for staff remuneration.
