On participation in the round table dedicated to the World Day for Safety and Health at Work

On April 27, 2026, a round table on the topic “Improvement of the occupational safety and health system and implementation of a temporary instruction on the prevention and elimination of violence and harassment in the workplace” was held in Bishkek at the Park Hotel Bishkek.

The event was organized within the framework of the World Day for Safety and Health at Work and brought together representatives of government agencies, the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, trade unions, international organizations, and the expert community.

Welcoming remarks were delivered by Member of Parliament Gulnara Baatyrova, First Deputy Minister of Labor, Social Security and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic Kamchybek Dosmatov, and Director of the Solidarity Center in the Kyrgyz Republic Lola Abdukadyrova.

During the round table, key issues of improving labor protection legislation were discussed, including amendments to the Labor Code and the Law “On Labor Protection.” Particular attention was paid to the activities of supervisory bodies overseeing compliance with labor legislation, as well as the presentation of a temporary instruction on the prevention, identification, and handling of cases of violence and harassment in the workplace.

The event was attended by Urmat Kydyrganov, Manager of the Finance and Analytics Service — Acting Manager of the Organizational Department of the Hungarian-Kyrgyz Development Fund.

It was noted that the Hungarian-Kyrgyz Development Fund adheres to the Code of Corporate Ethics and Conduct, as well as the principles of gender balance.

Following the event, participants emphasized the importance of further developing the occupational safety and health system and strengthening the protection of workers’ rights.
